Gochujang-Glazed Baked Cod

  1. Wash and dry the filets (2 fillets), season on both sides with salt and pepper. Set to the side, while you prep the sauce.
  2. For the sauce, mix together the gochujang (1 ½ Tbsp), honey (1 Tbsp), and sake (1 Tbsp). The sauce should be lightly spreadable, so add more sake if it’s too thick
  3. Set the oven to broil, and set the fillets on an aluminum lined baking sheet, lightly oiled
  4. Cover the fillets in gochujang sauce on all sides except skin, place skin side down and put under broiler for 7-8 minutes or until internal temperature is 145 degrees F
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds, scallions, add rice or other side.
  6. Alternate options include marinating for longer, or wrapping in parchment paper to steam-cook
